To teach about the symbolism and importance of the colour “Yellow” to our shemford futuristic school, Yellow Day was celebrated on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
All the little Buddies of Nursery dressed up in yellow, making them feel brighter and livelier.
The day started off with the colour yellow everywhere. Children were also asked to bring yellow colour fruit and objects for "Show and Tell " activity .
Snacks were filled with bananas, custard, jelly, lemons, mangoes, pineapples etc. Attractive yellow coloured toys like racing cars, teddy bears, dolls, balls, balloons, flying discs, flowers and masks made the learning environment active and sporty.
The Teachers discussed the theme in circle time and linked it to all subjects as well.
Pre-kg kids enjoyed the day by dipping and pasting yellow colour in corn cut-out. PP1 kids enjoyed a fun activity by collecting yellow ball from the basket containing other colour balls.
PP2 kids enjoyed balancing activity by walking on the zigzag line along with the balls on their hands.
The Little ones were excited to make things with clay. The Yellow day ended with lots of fun and enjoyment.
