On the face of ongoing violence in Manipur, The Shemford Futuristic School has directed to observe a day of prayer for the troubled state of Manipur on July 25th, Tuesday at 3 p.m. the entire teaching fraternity, students non-teaching staffs came together in the school premises.
The prayer meet was began by the respected Vice Principal Mrs. Kabrilla Jelastin who addressed the students by highlighting the conflict between two tribes. She emphasised the power of prayer and expressed unwavering faith in god's ability to restore peace in Manipur. Followed by the speech presented by Mrs kiruthiga by sharing the historical, and root cause of the violence.
Further the meet was woven together by the prayer led by Miss Rachel of class 10th for peace, brotherhood and harmony among the people. Further two minute silent prayer was observed and candles were lit ten up as a mark of respect for the lost and speedy recovery of the injured. The meet was concluded by our respected Principal, Mr Arumugam.
