78th Independence Day

The 78th Independence Day was joyously celebrated at our Futuristic School. Our esteemed chief guest, Mr. Sivasubramiyan, the inspector of Budalur, was warmly welcomed by our enthusiastic cubs and bulbul students. The welcome address was eloquently delivered by Rithish from Grade 5, setting a tone of respect and gratitude. The ceremony commenced with a solemn school prayer followed by the melodious rendition of the Tamil Thaai Vazhthu.

The chief guest was then honoured by our respected correspondent, Mr. Sriram sir, symbolizing our appreciation for his presence. The flag hoisting ceremony, was gracefully conducted by our chief guest, accompanied by the patriotic singing of the flag song. Rithika from Grade 9 led the assembly in reciting the national pledge.

A heartfelt tribute to our motherland was paid through the soul-stirring rendition of the Vande Mataram song, echoing the spirit of patriotism. The march past, featuring the spirited participation of the three house para, garud tand Marcus, showcased discipline and unity among the students.

The chief guest addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of limiting mobile phone usage and the role of parents in instilling discipline in children.

Principal Mrs. Jelastine inspired the gathering with a poignant story, encouraging everyone to embody strength and resilience akin to a lion. The cultural performances, including Bharatnatyam, Silambam, drill, dance, speeches, and a mesmerizing yoga pyramid by our talented Futuristic kids, showcased the diverse talents nurtured at our school.

The event culminated with a ceremony to recognize and reward excellence through the prize distribution. Bhavya from Grade 10 expressed gratitude to all participants and guests in a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging their contributions to the event's success. The celebration concluded with a collective rendition of the national anthem, symbolizing unity and pride in our nation.
