The investiture ceremony held at Shemford Futuristic School on July 15, 2024, was a momentous occasion that brought together students and staff to celebrate leadership and responsibility that shape the school's ethos.
Mr. Sivasubramaiyan, the esteemed police inspector of Budalur graced the event as the chief guest, adding a sense of significance to the proceedings. The ceremony exemplified the students' dedication to instilling the values of leadership and service within the school community. Shivani, of grade 10 delivered the welcome speech, and our respected principal, Jelastine mam, paid tribute to the chief guest, acknowledging his presence and the value he brought to the ceremony.
The Tamil Thaai Vazthu was sung, and the flag was raised. The school SPL guided the chief guest and introduced the captains and vice-captains of the three houses - Para, Marcos, and Garud.
The newly elected leaders were then acknowledged by the chief guest with sashes and badges it was a moment of honour and responsibility, signifying their roles as representatives of their peers and the school community.
Subsequently, the Club Inauguration took place, during which all secretaries were presented with badges.
Principal Jelastine mam supervised the oath-taking ceremony. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Jain Chopra from grade 10, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the ceremony.
