Arohan Thamarai Interschool Competition
REPORT: Inter school competition Report.

Thamarai Group of Institutions is organizing an Inter School Cultural competition (Arohan) every year.
‘Arohan’ provides a platform for the talented youth to exhibit their talents with an endeavor to create cultural awareness among the society.
The motto of the event this year is “One Earth, One family”
Competitions were conducted in the categories of Western Dance, Instrumental Music, and Variety Entertainment, Classical Dance, Folk Dance, Group Singing, Mono Acting and Enactment of advertisement
On 24TH August (Saturday) 2024 and the prizes were distributed to the winners on the same day.
1st, 2nd and, 3rd Prizes for each event and overall trophy based on total score were be awarded under two Categories –
1. Government, Government - Aided schools (to encourage participation from Government schools) and
2. Independent private schools
From the category of independent private schools, we registered the categories of mime and folk dance. We selected 8 students for folk dance under the control of
Mrs. Shalini and Miss. Gayathri and 12 students for mime under the control of
Miss. Arockiya Helen Christy.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal and rocked the performance.
